For Adrianna, a Delcastle student and current AMP Co-Op, the ACE Mentorship Program has been a game-changer. Now in her third year, she’s taken on a leadership role each time—guiding her peers through challenging design projects and learning the ropes of architecture, construction, and engineering from industry professionals.
This year’s project focused on designing a multifunctional high school. Adrianna’s team advanced from a local presentation to the ACE Breakfast, where only professionals (no parents or teachers) vote—and earned a spot at the national competition in D.C. this April.
Her favorite part of ACE? “Being a leader,” she says. “I love helping others grow and seeing it all come together.” ACE also introduced her to mentors like Chris, who helped shape her career path and led to her current co-op opportunity.
The biggest lesson she’s learned: “Be patient, ask questions, and remember you’re here to learn.”
Adrianna encourages students to join ACE even if it seems intimidating. “It opens so many doors. You get real exposure, connections, and confidence.”
Recognized as ACE Woman of the Month last year, Adrianna now hopes to return one day—not as a student, but as a mentor.
